Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and the controls you have over your data.

Last updated June 4, 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how TheorY, Inc. handles personal data in connection with Argus, our website, and related services.

2. What we collect

Account data — name, work email, firm, and role you provide at sign-up or when requesting access.

Usage data — authentication events, agent runs, and product interactions used to operate, secure, and meter the Services.

Billing data — handled by our payment provider; we store a customer reference and subscription status, not full card details.

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the Services, to meter and bill usage, to provide support, and to send transactional and (with consent) product-update email. We do not sell personal data.

4. Sub-processors

We rely on a small set of infrastructure and service providers — cloud hosting and edge compute, our payment merchant of record, and our transactional email provider — each bound by data-processing terms. A current list is available on request.

5. Retention & security

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, accounting, or security purposes. Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted on a least-privilege basis.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights contact privacy@theoryy.ai.
